Their manchego cheeses were SO GOOD. The olive oil they have on the table was so amazing I bought 2 (thank you for having them on retail to buy!).
I also really enjoyed the paella, I liked that there was a decent amount of seafood and chicken on the pan. Definitely worth a visit in Ballarat.

Not to be dramatic but this restaurant is where anyone should be if they’re looking for delicious flavour 🤤, amazing service 💁🏻♀️, and welcoming atmosphere 💃🏻
Food was prepared with so much skill and thought, that I’m prepared to order their Gambas Al Pil Pil (prawns! That aren’t deep fried!) as my last meal 😭 my poor pansy of a palate can’t handle chilli but for that dish alone? I WILL HAPPILY BURN.
The bread? Soft, like clouds from heaven. The olive oil? Flavourful like they hide an olive grove in the kitchen. The wine? So smooth and impactful, that ONE GLASS brought a warmth to my face (if you know what I mean, heh heh).
The chefs, the servers, and more so the owner (whose name I sadly didn’t ask for) were so warm and welcoming that I almost feel obliged to introduce them to all of my relatives 😂 ♥️
Don’t hesitate to book a table!

Driving to Ballarat for dinner at Meigas is always worth the trip. The dishes may use simple ingredients, but the flavors are truly outstanding. Prices are very reasonable, and the sangria is the perfect treat after a long drive!

Great restaurant and nothing really to fault 👌🏾 Staff were great, awesome fit out, I wanted to try a few different meals and they did up half serves of the mains for me. Even had a great couple of wines 😅

I opened with a chilled Tio Pepe Sherry (crisp &dry)to accompany my gazpacho oysters. My other tapas were jamon croqetas, grilled bullhorn peppers & sauted prawns in oil, garlic & chilli served bubbling washed down by a Senorio De Librares Grenache. A very attractive surround. Food very good.

When in Ballarat, this place is A MUST for absolutely delicious Spanish cuisine delight!
With a cool atmosphere, music and decor to make you feel the Spanish feel, we were welcomed in by the team to our large and spacious table for six.
Served by the wonderful Renata we ordered our paella for two (expect 40+mins on this), the meatballs, prawns, oysters, bbq pork, lamb skewers, and peppers.
Not a single disappointment with all delicious and great for sharing. The star of the paella was a delicious finish, fresh and flavourful, sizeable and perfect in portion.
Huge shout out to Renata for making this a great culinary experience with her amazing service.
Definitely returning to here when next in Ballarat.

I’ve lived here for 6 years, visited multiple times and I’ve only just gone to this place. Service was immaculate, atmosphere immaculate and food was absolutely beautiful. My partner and I shared an entree, and the mains together which we assumed that’s what you do. If not it was a vibe and we loved it. We have definitely put this place as our number one spot and we will be coming again. It is very popular(for a reason), so please don’t forget to book. We would put photos but we devoured everything before I remembered to take pictures. We did however get some photos of the drinks. Again this place is a must visit.

The grapefruit mocktail is refreshing and perfectly balanced—not too sweet. This is my second visit to the restaurant, and I will definitely be coming back again and recommending it to others. The oyster sauce is amazing, the ham croquetas are delicious, and the paella is also very enjoyable.

A lovely Spanish restaurant in Ballarat. They have a varied of tapas and main dishes to choose from! I love they serve some olives as an appetiser with bread and that little olive oil bottle is so cute.
We had
MARINATED & GRILLED PORK WITH PIQUILLO
PAELLA MIXTA
The paella is at least 45 minutes wait and minimum 2 people. The portion is decent and delicious however, it was a bit salty during our visit.
Overall, we really had a good experience and hope you will too!
Save this for later🍀

An absolute find.
A must book as it gets very busy.
Olives and bread are free so don't fill up.
Each dish serves 4 people so best to be a table of 4 or 8,
We were a table of 2 and as you can see from the photos, ordered way too much.
We did have favourites but in general it was all good, hot food.
Great service and the food flowed from the kitchen rather than all coming at once.
Solid 5 star .
